While Ikechi and Emem Obot seemed like they’d be a great fit during the MAFS season 18 matchmaking special, the couple were certain to have some differences going into their new relationship. Emem, who was looking for someone she could share values with, has been doing a great job building the foundation of her marriage with Ikechi. Although Ikechi has been exhibiting behaviors that have made MAFS viewers uncomfortable, the recent lying he’s been doing has been strange for viewers and his fellow cast members alike. Ikechi’s behavior has been odd and overwhelming, leaving many feeling like he shouldn’t be part of the series at all. Whether his casting was a failing of the producers, casting team, or both, Ikechi’s behavior on Married At First Sight has been unacceptable and left viewers hoping he’ll leave the series soon. After behaving so disappointingly, Ikechi should be removed for Emem’s sake, as he’s been throwing her under the bus.
