Today Jenna Bush Hager Has Tons Of Support During Shake-Up
Today show anchor Hoda Kotb really shook up the morning show when she announced she was leaving. She chose to focus on her new book and also on a wellness company she started up.
When Hoda left, Craig Melvin took over one of her main spots on the show. Jenna Bush Hager has stepped up to be sure the fourth hour of the show is still incredible. A permanent replacement alongside Jenna has not been decided. Instead, she has been having a rotating schedule with guest hosts making appearances.
She recently revealed that she has no idea when someone will be put into the spot for good. For now, Jenna noted that they already have celebrity guest hosts scheduled through the summer months. They are in no hurry to find a permanent replacement for Hoda.
She’s Gotten Some Great Advice
Today show Jenna Bush Hager has been doing a great job since Hoda left. Plus, she has had some incredible guest hosts who have given her great advice and brought her to tears.
Wynonna Judd is one of those guests. She offered Jenna words of encouragement after Hoda’s departure. One thing she said was, “I had to do this show. I don’t really love live TV ’cause I’m always afraid I’m gonna go viral for the wrong reasons, but I just had to do this.” She continued saying, “I just admire you for doing this on your own. I have you on my heart ’cause I did it myself. I went out on my own,I stepped into my own.”
Scarlett Johansson also weighed in on Jenna’s huge change. She told her that when looking for a replacement for Hoda, they should look for someone spicy and definitely funny.
So, Jenna has had tons of support, and fans love her. Everyone does miss Hoda, but they are also loving the rotating list of special guests. Perhaps one of them will end up her permanent co-host sometime down the road. However, for now, they are in no hurry to fill that spot.
Jenna is also branching out and having a book club festival in Nashville. She’s been promoting the event and has several authors on hand for the first-ever event. Fans love following her book club.
