Kate Gosselin Opens Up
Kate is doing a series on TikTok about her pregnancy, and it turns out that she was pregnant with seven kids when she had her six children. There were actually seven babies in there, but one of them didn’t make it. She said, “We had our first ultrasound at six weeks and there were seven babies.” Kate went on to explain, “I think they had us come back the next week — it was either the next week or two weeks, I can’t honestly remember — to see how they had progressed. In between that time, the seventh baby stopped growing.
Kate Shares Details About The Baby
Kate Gosselin used fertility treatments to get pregnant both times. She went on to share that she was lucky she didn’t lose all of the babies in her last pregnancy. Kate said, “Along the way there was another emergency — besides the kidney stones, besides the hyper-stimulated ovaries before that — there was another emergency, at some point I started bleeding. She continued in the video. “I, of course, thought this was the beginning of a miscarriage [and] I was losing them all.”
Kate was too early in her pregnancy to know the sex of the child, but she always felt like it was a girl. She even had the name “Emma” picked out if she had had her. Her other babies were born two months early, but everything worked out, and they are all healthy, living their best lives.
Kate did share that she didn’t even get to meet her babies until about a half day after she had them. This is a long time to wait after giving birth. She had them all really fast, in about three minutes. Kate went on to say, “Family members had already seen them, and I felt like the last to see them. I understand I was in huge recovery, I really had no muscle tone left. I could walk to the bathroom, which was maybe 10 feet [away], but that’s all the walking I had done for months.”
