Philadelphia psych-folk duo and frontrunners for most “un-Googleable band name” @ (pronounced like “at”) have signed to 4AD for their sophomore album. Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak will release Autosmile on October 16 via the storied British label. As a lead single, they’ve shared the LP’s title track alongside a stripped-down performance video. Watch it below.
Rose and Filipczak originally self-released their debut full-length, 2021’s Mind Palace Music. Carpark Records reissued the album in 2023 and, the following year, put out an EP by the duo, Are You There God? It’s Me, @. @ will support both YHWH Nailgun and This is Lorelei on their respective North American tours this fall, then head to Europe in November for their own run of headlining dates. Scroll down to see the full run of shows.
