Parks and Recreation stars Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate) and Li’l Sebastian are teaming up to support the SAG-AFTRA strike. A sitcom designed to serve as political satire, Parks & Rec is known for telling the story of Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), as she tries to resolve the ever-more prevalent issues in her community. The show ran for seven seasons from 2009 to 2015, and it is now earning some additional attention as several of its stars shine at the SAG-AFTRA picket lines.

Many of the actors brought signs with direct references to the show, including one that reads “PAWNEE is a UNION town!“
