Meryn and Anassa are a complex and flawed duo, and readers will love to watch them grow as individuals and as a team. The story boasts some exciting twists and dark secrets. Sorensen handles these revelations perfectly, giving the readers just enough clues to leave them begging for more and making wild guesses until the very last moment. I found myself gasping, jumping up and pacing multiple times, so eager to get to the end and find out the truth.
Suffice it to say, I absolutely love Direbound. I couldn’t put this book down and ended up devouring it in a single weekend! This romantasy has it all: a badass heroine, intense action and a love story you won’t soon forget. I can’t wait for the sequel!
