Dana Canedy is stepping down as publisher of Simon & Schuster’s flagship imprint after two years to write a sequel to her memoir “A Journal for Jordan,” the company said.
Ms. Canedy, 57 years old, was the first Black woman to head the imprint, which in recent years has published a string of successful political titles.
