Apple’s 2021 iPad Pro is powered by the company’s proprietary M1 chip. It boasts Wi-Fi 6 and cellular connectivity, and promises all-day battery life. And at 12.9 inches, the screen is massive for a tablet. The 2021 iPad Pro also features the TrueDepth camera system with Ultra Wide front that has Center Stage position tracking to ensure users are centered during video calls. It also works with Apple Pencil and the Magic Keyboard. While it’s not the newest offering, it remains one of the best in the market.

For the next few hours, Best Buy is offering a whopping $900 off the 2TB version of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (M1, Wi-Fi + Cellular). While the original price of the tablet is $2,399.99, post discount, the tablet is available for $1,499.99. Here’s what makes this deal so unique: First, you would probably settle for the 512GB variant if it had not been for this sale. Second, competitors like Samsung don’t have a 2TB tablet variant, even for the premium Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Wi-Fi), which costs $1,399.99 for the 512GB storage model. For those who don’t need 2TB of storage, though, Best Buy’s sale covers several additional options.

For instance, the 1TB 12.9-inch iPad Pro (M1, Wi-Fi + Cellular) is currently listed for $1,199.99, down from the previous price of $1,999.99, saving $800. Further, interested users can also avail of great discounts on the 512GB and 256GB storage variants, which are available for $999.99 and $899.99, down from their previous prices of $1,599.99 and $1,399.99, respectively. Those interested should hurry as the deal ends today.

To recap the specs, the device has a 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR display with a pixel density of 264 ppi. The screen supports Apple’s ProMotion technology to switch between higher (up to 120Hz) and lower refresh rates. It can achieve a peak brightness of 1,600 nits while watching HDR content and supports True Tone. Under the hood, the iPad features an M1 silicone chip with an octa-core CPU and GPU. On models with 1TB and 2TB storage, users get 16GB of RAM, whereas, on the other models, they get 8GB of RAM.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro has a triple rear camera setup along with a LIDAR scanner and an ultra-wide True-Depth camera system that enables features like Face ID and Center Stage. Regarding battery life, users should expect up to nine hours of web surfing using cellular data and more on Wi-Fi. Although it doesn’t have the fastest charging speed, the iPad Pro still supports up to 20W wired power via the USB-C wall adapter provided in the box. All-in-all, the 12.2-inch iPad Pro (M1) provides a seamless iPadOS experience and should continue to receive new software updates for another three to four years.
