Continuing its theatrical run as the new year begins, James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash hits a significant domestic milestone. Avatar: Fire and Ash grossed an additional $8.1 million in the U.S. on New Year’s Eve (-43% from Tuesday), bringing its domestic total up to $250.2 million. Worldwide, the threequel has grossed $851 million.
