Irene won the first Mini challenge: a photoshoot set at a car wash (an ode to the first-ever Mini Challenge in RPDR season 1). In the opening Maxi challenge, which was the iconic RPDR talent show, the ladies showcased their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent in a series of variety performances, plus performed a larger-than-life group opening performance. Irene fell into the bottom two following her showcase. Following a lip-sync performance of “7 Rings” by Ariana Grande against TikTok queen, Amethyst, Irene was asked to sashay away.

Irene Dubois, known to her fans as “The Alien,” is a Seattle-based drag queen. She is known for her sharp wit and love of extreme makeup transformations, and is the drag sister of fellow Seattle alien, Bosco, who competed on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14. Dubois started doing drag while studying theater at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and has made it her full-time job since turning 25. The “alien” queen claims that she often acts as an insult comic at her shows, with audiences more interested in what she has to say on the mic than her performances. She applied to be on RuPaul’s Drag Race five times before being accepted.
