The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, Meghan, is ready to try non-traditional relationships after separation from her husband, Cuffe Biden Owen.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, Meghan King, wants to explore all kinds of relationships in 2023, including non-traditional ones. Meghan, who has been married three times in the past 15 years, was on RHOC from seasons 10 through 12. While she was on the show, viewers observed her as she navigated her relationship with her then-husband, Jim Edmond, to whom she was married from 2014 to 2019. Her marriage to Jim, which lasted for five years, was the longest, while that to Cuffe Biden Owens, from 2021 to 2022, was the shortest. Meghan was first married to Brad McDill, from 2007 to 2011.
Among other goals Meghan has for 2023, she has also revealed her relationship goals for the new year. “I will explore my sexuality if I want to,” the 38-year-old RHOC alum wrote in a blog post that she titled Burn Baby Burn. She also wrote that she will honor both platonic and non-traditional relationships.
From the looks of things, Meghan is set to explore a lot of new things this year, and she is unapologetic about it. The mom of three also declared 2023 to be “2023. The Year of Me,” and vowed to make it all about herself. According to her blog post, she will be more focused on being a mom, taking care of her health, reading, writing, planning retreats, and loving her home.
Meghan Also Shares Family Goals
In addition to her relationship goals, Meghan also shared some family goals. Meghan will be having more private time with her kids away from the internet. “No more photos of my children’s faces,” she wrote about daughter Aspen, 6, and twin sons, Hayes and Hart, 4, from her previous marriage to Jim. She added that pictures of her children were used against her and to hurt her. She concluded by writing that her kids know nothing about notoriety, so she will keep them off the internet until they are old enough to handle such a life if they choose to.
Meghan’s new year’s resolution regarding her new relationship goals came after her split from her ex-husband, Cuffe, who is the nephew of President Joe Biden. Meghan and Cuffe tied the knot in October 2021, just three weeks after meeting each other. Meghan raved about their bond as she revealed that they stayed by each other’s sides for weeks. The former cast member of RHOC added that she and Cuffe were destined to be together and that they shared the same wedding vision. Unfortunately, Meghan and Cuffe separated in December.
Meghan’s decision to explore non-traditional relationships could be a result of her three failed marriages. In September 2022, The Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed that she was done making her relationship public, as she did not want it to shape how people saw her. So while Meghan has shared that she will be exploring more relationship types this year, she may not be sharing details of those relationships online.
