My Hero Academia Previews Final Season With First Trailer, Teasing Deku’s Final Battle: Watch

Years ago, the anime world was introduced to Izuku Midoriya, and the headstrong hero went on to change the industry. Now, fans are keeping a close eye on the boy as he prepares for his final outing. This year marks the release of My Hero Academia‘s final season whether you can believe it or not. In a few months, the anime’s end will begin, and a first look at the final season is now live thanks to a new trailer.

The clip, as you can see below, brings Izuku Midoriya center stage for his last stand. The boy spent much of My Hero Academia season seven in the trenches, and that trend will continue with this final season. After all, All For One has yet to be defeated, and Shigaraki will not rest until he has taken Deku’s quirk… and his life.

The Shonen Anime Helped Usher In A Renaissance

Set to debut in 2025, all eyes are on My Hero Academia‘s final season for good reason. The show’s stakes are higher than ever, and season seven left fans with some serious cliffhangers. For one, the world watched as Shigaraki began his meld with All For One, turning the young villain into a true monstrosity. Ochaco began her one-on-one feud with Toga, and of course, there is the elephant in the room with Bakugo Katsuki. The explosive boy is presumed dead following his battle with Shigaraki, but the pro hero Edgeshot is set on bringing the hero back to life.

This teaser trailer for My Hero Academia‘s final hurrah is nothing short of epic, and it is easy to see why. Studio Bones, the production company behind My Hero Academia, owes Deku so much. Many fans credit the hero and their anime for ushering in the latest industry renaissance, so the end of My Hero Academia is truly bittersweet.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Will Debut In April

Of course, My Hero Academia fans have reason to rejoice outside of this final season. After all, the anime is working double duty in 2025. In April, the world will be treated to the prequel of My Hero Academia courtesy of Studio Bones. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will join the Spring 2025 cour, and the canon prequel will treat fans to something special.
