The Next Spellshop Series Novel Comes Out In 2026
In a brand-new video on her Instagram, Durst shared that the cover of her upcoming Spellshop novel, Sea Of Charms, is finally here and encapsulates the essence of her next story. Durst explained that the beautiful cover, which depicts the garden gateway to a sailboat soaring through crystal blue waters, is the perfect look at Sea Of Charms ahead of its release.
With art created by Lulu Chen and design by Esther Kim, Durst revealed she’s “absolutely in love with this cover” before sharing more about Sea Of Charms, which she can’t wait to be in her readers’ hands. Durst shared that Sea Of Charms will take place on the water, bringing a familiar face from the Spellshop world into the spotlight.
Sea Of Charms Features An Exciting Cast Of Cozy Romantasy Characters
The Novel Takes Place Of The High Seas
During her cover reveal, Durst explained that Sea Of Charms will be centered on Marin, who was introduced in previous Spellshop novels. On one of Marin’s routine trips to the Crescent Islands Empire, she stumbles across a revolution and, fearing for his safety, rescues a familiar musician named Dax. With doses of fake-dating, a stubborn romantic connection, and a fantastical backdrop, Sea Of Charms sounds delightful.
While all of the books in the Spellshop world can be read as standalone novels, bringing characters from previous stories into the mix often makes the story feel more layered, nuanced, and grounded. Seeing Marin coming into her own with her own cozy romance tale is a plus for readers. Sea Of Charms, though still months away, is going to be a must-read next season.
