The High School Years DLC focuses on teen life in Copperdale, where players can attend school and form their high school persona. In addition to attending prom, Sims can attend classes, build personas, play pranks, and generally try to navigate the complexities of high school life. This is the newest expansion for The Sims 4, a franchise that is known for tons of DLCs, add-ons, and story development.
One of the biggest events in high school is the Prom, and this experience is captured in The Sims 4. Prom takes place in the Copperdale Auditorium, and it helps Sims celebrate their high school graduation. To do a Promposal in The Sims 4, players can either leave a note in someone’s locker or create a Promposal sign and present it to the desired prom date. How to Do a Promposal in The Sims 4

Once players have identified who they want to bring to Prom, create a sign. Click on the Sim, go to the Prom category, and choose the option to create the Prom sign. Once it’s done, the Promposal can occur by clicking on the desired Prom date and choosing the option to present Promposal sign. It’s also possible to just ask a Sim normally to Prom, but the Promposal way will gain more friendship with the Sim; there is a chance that the Sim will become deeply connected with players after a Promposal. Not all Promposals will be successful, as there is a chance the Sim will reject the invitation.

Several of these options will bring players Sims to the prom with their date. However, if players want to attend alone, they can also do that. Like in real high school, players can go to prom alone, with friends, with a date as a friend, or with a date romantically in The Sims 4. When players have decided who to bring to prom, they can get ready and select their outfit and hairstyle.
