James Gunn’s Superman movie has earned its Rotten Tomatoes score, as it lands in an interesting place in the director’s superhero filmography.
Superman, which opens in theaters this week, has officially become certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a critics’ score of 86%, and the DCU installment marks Gunn’s fifth major superhero movie. While Superman’s critics’ score may change in the next few days, when additional reviews get logged on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s Gunn’s third-highest ranking superhero film by Rotten Tomatoes-approved critics:
