Will Actor Reacts To Kate Bush Memes In Stranger Things Season 4 TikTok

Noah Schnapp, who portrays Will Byers in Stranger Things, shares a TikTok of him reacting to all the Kate Bush memes after Stranger Things season 4.

Noah Schnapp shared a new TikTok in which he reacts to all the Kate Bush memes that popped up shortly after Stranger Things season 4 volume 1 was released. Stranger Things season 4 premiered on May 27, almost three years after season 3 premiered. The season follows the Byers family and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) as they navigate life in California. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang in Hawkins discovers that they are still experiencing attacks from creatures from the Upside Down. In particular, they are dealing with the frightful Vecna, who uses Vecna’s curse on his victims, which is almost always fatal.

    SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

With a long run time and extended cast, Stranger Things season 4 follows multiple story arcs. One of the most heartfelt story arcs was that of Max (Sadie Sink), who is dealing with the grief of losing her brother. Max finds solace in music and her favorite song is Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill,” which she listens to on repeat. When Max becomes one of Vecna’s victims, she survives against all odds when Bush’s song brings her back to reality. That powerful scene has reignited a love for Bush’s songs in fans.

In a new TikTok video (via @noahschnappbr), Schnapp filmed himself reacting to the Bush memes following the Stranger Things season 4 premiere. The video sees Schnapp pretending to scroll through his “for you” page on the platform after May 27. Every single TikTok is Bush’s song and fans have even dropped the sped-up version already. Check out his video below:

While the video is a joke, it is hardly an exaggeration as fans have been captivated with Bush’s song since Stranger Things season 4 released. As a matter of fact, the 37-year-old song topped the Apple Music charts in the U.S., as well as in multiple countries across the globe. It also quickly became a viral TikTok song. The song truly struck a chord with viewers as it resonated with Max’s grief and emotional vulnerability and gave her solace. Some viewers were long-time fans of Bush, while others are wholly new to the British icon. Regardless of their Bush familiarity, viewers across the board are discovering or rediscovering the singer’s impressive work.

Schnapp’s TikTok and the continued preoccupation with Bush truly exemplify the pull that Stranger Things has. Stranger Things has always been brimming with 80s nostalgia, but it is very intriguing to see it have the power to bring a 1985 song back into the international spotlight. As a matter of fact, Bush herself actually happens to be a Stranger Things fan, which was one of the keys to the show getting permission to utilize it. After three years, Stranger Things returned like no time had passed at all and quickly revived a 37-year-old song. This really highlights the extent of Stranger Things‘ popularity and its influence over its loyal fanbase.
