The seaside village of Sag Harbor will once again come alive with music, community, and culture as the 15th Annual Sag Harbor American Music Festival takes place on Saturday, September 27, 2025. This year’s milestone celebration will be headlined by the internationally acclaimed Leon & The Peoples, bringing their signature blend of soul, reggae, and R&B to the heart of the Hamptons.
Founded to highlight the power of music in uniting communities, the Sag Harbor American Music Festival has grown into one of Long Island’s most beloved traditions, drawing thousands of visitors each year to its historic streets, waterfront stages, and intimate venues. Over the past decade and a half, the festival has showcased a vibrant mix of local talent, national acts, and globally celebrated performers, while supporting arts education and local charities.

Leon & The Peoples, led by award-winning actor, singer, and songwriter Leon Robinson, are known for their high-energy performances and uplifting sound that fuses classic reggae rhythms with smooth soul grooves. With a catalog of crowd favorites and original hits, the band has headlined international festivals and shared the stage with legends such as Beres Hammond, Shaggy, and The Wailers. Their appearance at the 15th anniversary of the Sag Harbor American Music Festival is set to be one of the highlights of the Hamptons’ cultural calendar.
The festival will feature a weekend of live performances across multiple stages throughout the village, free community concerts, ticketed headliner events, and pop-up performances in local galleries, restaurants, and parks. Attendees can also enjoy artisanal food vendors, craft makers, and the unique small-town charm that has made Sag Harbor a cultural destination.
