The Black Keys have quietly canceled their upcoming “International Players Tour.”
Coming in support of their latest album, Ohio Players, The Black Keys’ North American arena tour was supposed to kick off on September 17th in Tulsa, Oklahoma and stop in cities like Austin, Seattle, Atlanta, and more. As of Saturday, however, all but one of the band’s scheduled concerts has been removed from their website. Ticketmaster also lists the shows as canceled.
The Black Keys have thus far made no public acknowledgement of the tour’s cancelation. Based on ticket availability data sourced from Ticketmaster, however, it appears the tour suffered from low sales. Some fans placed the blame on high ticket prices, which ranged between $100 and $300.
It’s also worth noting that while The Black Keys have toured arenas in the past, Ohio Players was by far the band’s least successful commercial release in nearly two decades. Upon its release in April, the album debuted at No. 26 on the Billboard 200. For comparison, their previous album, 2022’s Dropout Boogie, opened at No. 8.

As of now, The Black Keys’ only scheduled live appearance is at the NASCAR Chicago Street Race on July 6th.
