Biden To Finish Section of Trump’s Border Wall – and Democrats Have Yet to Call Him Racist

Biden To Finish Section of Trump’s Border Wall – and Democrats Have Yet to Call Him Racist

The Biden administration on Thursday authorized closing four major gaps in the construction of the border wall near Yuma, Arizona, a location said to be one of the busiest crossing points for illegal immigrants.

The Department of Homeland Security issued a press release announcing approval for the project from DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

NBC News reported on the developments, stating the administration had “authorized completion of the Trump-funded U.S.-Mexico border wall” in that location.

Mayorkas had been considering closing the gaps in the border wall since April of 2021. The former President praised the possibility of finishing construction at the time.

“I think it’s great that they reversed themselves, but a lot of damage was done because we were gonna have that wall almost complete,” Trump said. “If they agree that they’re going to complete it, that’s a great thing. That’s a very positive step.”

Biden Admin Will Complete Construction of Section of Trump’s Border Wall

Construction of portions of Trump’s border wall marks yet another campaign pledge flushed down the toilet by President Biden.

Despite knowing the security risks, Biden caved to extremists within his own party by vowing to halt construction immediately upon taking office.

“There will not be another foot of wall constructed on my administration, number 1,” he said in an interview with NPR.

Number one is starting to look like a whole lot of number two now that he’s approved not only another foot, but many, many feet involved in closing the gaps.

So the Biden Admin has decided to finish the Trump border wall in Arizona…even after they said walls are racist and walls don’t work. ????

President Biden spoke about border security in his last State of the Union address, prompting Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO) to begin chanting, “Build the Wall!”

Biden: “If we are to advance liberty and justice, we need to secure the Border and fix the immigration system”

    Where is the Democrat Outrage?

The Biden administration’s plans to complete construction of the Yuma border wall sections are, according to the DHS, consistent with an attempt to “deploy modern, effective border measures and also improv(e) safety and security along the Southwest Border.”

High-tech border security is a good thing, of course.

Pete Saenz, a Democrat and Mayor of Laredo, Texas, urged President Biden nearly a year ago to implement modern measures through a ‘virtual wall,’ saying that failure to do so would leave people “begging for a wall, a physical structure.”

“We need to truly secure the border,” Saenz told the Washington Free Beacon. “It was working under Trump, call it whatever you want to call it, but it was working.”

Noticeably absent from Democrat politicians following news that the Biden administration had authorized further construction of the border wall was their typical crazed outrage.

No comparisons to 1930s Germany, no calling the President a racist or xenophobe, and no accusations of Biden wanting the children to die in their home country.

    Just … silence.

Perhaps Squad member AOC is still tied up in those invisible handcuffs and can’t access her Twitter account to express outrage at the current President.

Prior to announcing the completion of the Arizona wall sections, Mayorkas had declared the border “secure” even as roughly 4 million illegal immigrants have crossed since President Biden took office.

The administration is reportedly weighing a plan to provide temporary I.D. cards to illegal immigrants so they can more easily access government benefits.
