As we’ve covered here at The Political Insider, Democrat lawmakers have seemingly gone adrift regarding how they can respond to the current administration. I’ll be honest, that’s just the most charitable way I can describe their behavior.

Case in point: meet Maxine Dexter.

Some would suggest the left has become unhinged, what with their speeches declaring “war!” and urging their far-left base to “fight in the streets.”

For example, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and several of her colleagues recently accosted and harassed a security guard at the Education Department.

Now, however, there is a new lunatic named Maxine in town.

Rep. Maxine Dexter (D-OR), a freshman congressman at the age of 52, did her best to duplicate the insanity at the American Federation of Government Employees rally, where leftists gathered to voice outrage that Elon Musk and President Trump are slashing waste and fraud.

The only thing is, she completely flubbed her inane attack and gave us some pure comedy gold

Dexter spoke at the rally and did her best ‘How do you do fellow kids?’ impression, trying to amp up the rage messaging to the Democrat base.

    It was awkward as hell.

“I’ve been told I have 30 seconds, so I am gonna tell you that we do have to — I don’t swear in public very well,” Dexter told the crowd.

“But we have to f— Trump!” she shouted, then giggled sheepishly. “Please don’t tell my children that I just did that!”

Well then. At least she’s being original – that’s about the only thing Democrats haven’t suggested they wanted to do to Trump so far.

So hip. So edgy, these Dems.

    Introduces The ‘Stop Musk Act’

Rep. Maxine Dexter also introduced the “Stop Musk Act,” which calls upon federal employees to engage in insurrection to stop Elon Musk and his DOGE team from cutting waste and fraud.

As you might expect, the Act basically gives those who “resist” a free pass for doing so.

“No federal employee may be retaliated against, including any retaliation occurring on or after the date of the enactment of this Act, for resisting, circumventing, or preventing Elon Musk or individuals he oversees from taking unlawful or unconstitutional actions relating to Federal agencies,” it reads.

It’s wild watching Democrats screech to the heavens about Musk and President Trump trying to put a halt to their endless grift and theft of taxpayer dollars.

And to do so with the cringe-worthy Dexter attempting to come off as edgy is something to behold. They’re just so bad at this. It’s really … weird.
