Serial Liar Adam Schiff Urges DOJ To Pursue Criminal Charges Against Trump For Engaging In Alleged ‘Multiple Criminal Acts’

Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff claims the House Select Committee investigating the “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol has acquired substantial evidence proving former President Donald Trump “engaged in multiple criminal acts” while attempting to overturn the presidential election on January 6.

In an interview with CNN on Tuesday night, the California Democrat called on the Justice Department to “follow the evidence” and pursue charges against

“Our mission is to expose the facts to the public light about a plot to overturn a presidential election, the first non-peaceful transfer of power we’ve had in our history, and prescribe remedies, legislative remedies to protect our country going forward. The principal mission of the Justice Department is to bring people to justice who break the law,” Schiff told CNN’s Don Lemon.

“We can make a referral, but of course, the Justice Department doesn’t sit around waiting for referrals from us, at least, they haven’t in the past. I hope they’re not simply waiting for us now,” he continued. “It’s their duty to follow the evidence and, if there are credible allegations of crime, to pursue them against anyone, including former presidents.”

“If they shouldn’t be waiting, do you find  — at least in what you know —  enough credible evidence for the Justice Department to act at this moment?” Lemon asked.

“I certainly believe there’s enough evidence for them to open an investigation of several people, and so does Judge David Carter of California who believes the former president and others were engaged in likely multiple criminal acts. So, if the Justice Department concurs with Judge Carter, let alone my own view or others, they should be pursuing that,” Schiff replied. “So, yes, I think there is sufficient evidence to open an investigation.

“It would be up to the Justice Department ultimately to decide does that evidence rise to proof beyond a reasonable doubt such that they’re comfortable indicting someone. But there’s certainly, in my view, enough evidence to open up investigations.”

As Schiff pursues charges against scores of Americans for exercising the First Amendment and protesting the ostensibly stolen election, the Democrat lawmaker has yet to be indicted for repeatedly perjuring himself and flamboyantly lying to the American public under oath during his failed attempts to frame Trump and his political opposition.

In December, Schiff notoriously doctored text exchanges between Rep. Jim Jordan and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows in a bid to depict them as criminals.

“Schiff claimed to have proof that a member of Congress texted former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows to instruct former Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the 2020 presidential election results,” the Federalist reported. “Not only did Schiff misrepresent the substance of the text message and its source, he even doctored original text messages, which were obtained and reviewed by The Federalist in their entirety.”

Prior to investigating Republicans for protesting the fraud-ridden 2020 election on the Stalinist January 6 committee, Schiff and the Deep State attempted a coup on Trump by accusing the Republican president of colluding with Russia to rig the 2016 election.

Schiff and the Democrats used the bogus, Hillary Clinton-funded Steele dossier as their main source of evidence.

The Democrat lawmaker pushed the fake dossier for years, knowing all along the dossier was funded by Democrats and there was no proof of Trump-Russia collusion.

During the Senate impeachment trial in 2020,  Schiff made up a completely imaginary Trump quote saying Trump forced Ukrainian President Zelensky to “publicly announce the two political investigations and he should want to do it.”

We are still waiting on his Russia Russia Russia evidence.

Now Schiff is a ringleader of weaponizing the federal government against the American people, taking the country to the brink of totalitarianism as he relies on the corporate press to disseminate lies as truth.
