(VIDEO) President Trump Trolls Biden and Leftist Media After 3 Hour Cabinet Meeting with Press: “You’d Ask One Question to Biden, and it Was Always the Ice Cream Question” | The Gateway Pundit

(VIDEO) President Trump Trolls Biden and Leftist Media After 3 Hour Cabinet Meeting with Press: “You’d Ask One Question to Biden, and it Was Always the Ice Cream Question” | The Gateway Pundit

President Trump on Tuesday ended an open press cabinet meeting, highlighting his administration’s commitment to transparency and drawing a hilarious contrast to the Biden Regime’s refusal to answer to the press.

Tuesday’s cabinet meeting lasted more than three hours, with nearly an hour dedicated to questions for the President and cabinet members.

Joe Biden rarely took questions from the press during his four years in office. Last year, Biden went months without taking a single question from the press, even prompting the far-left New York Times to accuse Biden of “systematically avoiding” reporters.

Throughout his four years in office, Biden held a total of 37 news conferences, taking very few questions at each, with only four in 2024, according to the American Presidency Project.

Trump on Tuesday joked with reporters, “you have not had this happen for four years. You sat, and you’d ask one question to Biden, and it was always the ice cream question, right?”

It can be recalled that Biden was often spotted going out for ice cream, with giddy reporters cheering his love of chocolate chip.

Trump championed his “open government” and expressed hope that future administrations will be transparent and give access to the cabinet as he has done in his second term.

He further closed the meeting with a message to liberal Illinois, New York, and California, telling the leaders that he “will be a totally different person with them” and “respect them” if they get serious about crime and ask for his help.

    WATCH:

Trump: You know what I think? I think this, you have not had this happen for four years. You sat, and you’d ask one question to Biden, and it was always the ice cream question, right? What flavor ice cream do you like? “Uhh, uhh, I like vanilla.” And that was the end of the conference. I think now we’ve done enough. These people are very busy. I want to just thank this is the greatest— This has never been done before, first of all. A Cabinet meeting was sacred. You’d never let the fake news media in, but the fake news media isn’t all fake. A lot of it is, but it’s not all. I think it’s a great thing. I think it’s, maybe it’s going to be done in the future. I hope it’s going to be done, but you really get the word out. I mean, we had, each one of these people spoke. I think each one, if I thought one of them did badly, I would call that person out. I would say, Kristi, what the heck are you doing?

You have a very talented group of people. They get along, they work along together. And there’s something really nice about just, you know, the openness of what we’re doing. It’s government. It’s an open government. That’s what we are, and we haven’t made too many mistakes. We maybe will. We haven’t made too many mistakes. We’ve called it right, and I think you can be very proud of your country. We are a respected country, again, we are really, right now, respected at the highest level, and we’re doing great, and we’re a very rich country, again, very rich. And it’s a good thing because when we’re rich, we can take care of poor, and that’s what we’re doing, and we’re taking care of crime. And I hope, just in finishing, I hope that Illinois, I hope that New York, I hope that California, I hope they call me and they say, I’d love to have you come in and help us out. I will be a totally different person with them. I will respect them for doing it. Thank you all very much.
