Banjo-Threeie is not a real game, but rather a fan-made creation that just got a new trailer. This sequel would have taken place approximately 22-years after the defeat of Gruntilda in Banjo-Tooie. This time, the villain is back and stronger than ever, thanks to a massive army. Just for reference, aside from the two already mentioned, there are two other official sequels: GBA’s Grunty’s Revenge (2003) and the Xbox 360’s Nuts & Bolts (2008).
Unlike its predecessors, characters in Banjo-Threeie would be able to transform into various shapes in addition to animals and objects. There are multiple worlds, each with their own immersive atmosphere and music. Unfortunately, its developers, Project Dream, have no plans on making a playable version of this sequel that Rare should have released many years ago. On the other hands, at least one developer is still releasing new games on Game Boy cartridges.
