The one thing about Conan O’Brien is that his hair is very reliable. He has sported the same hairdo for decades, and that has comforted his fans. Since he first appeared on the scene in the early nineties, he has had signature red hair with a pouf or a big curl in the front. At 6’4, it has almost added to his tall stature, but made him instantly recognizable. However, in a shock to all of his followers and those who simply know of him, Conan went and changed his hair.
Now, at 63 years old, it makes sense that he wanted to spice things up. It was not anything super crazy, but when he appeared on his Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend pod, he debuted a slick back look. This set the Internet ablaze as no one quite knew what to make of his greaser look. Moreover, they were uncertain whether it was here to stay.

Despite Conan O’Brien giving a good answer to his new style, fans and followers still laid into him. They were happy to know why, but they felt so uncomfortable seeing him in a new way:
