‘DWTS’ Fans Livid Over Alleged Season 34 Unfair Pairing

‘DWTS’ Fans Livid Over Alleged Season 34 Unfair Pairing

DWTS returns with an all-new season on September 16. ABC will reveal the official cast list and pro pairings later this week. But rumors about Season 34 are all over social media. Fans are livid over the rumored ‘unfair’ pairing between a celebrity and their pro partner.

DWTS Pro Confirms She’s Not Returning For Season 34

DWTS will be disappointed but not surprised that Lindsay Arnold won’t be a pro on Season 34. She shared the news on TikTok and explained why.

“It’s currently just better for me to be home with my family, My girls have so many things going on this fall, and it’s so exciting. I just know that I’m exactly where I need to be and where I should be,” she said.

Lindsay Arnold shares two children, Sage, 4, and June, 2, with her husband, Samuel Cusick. She left the show in 2021 after the birth of her first child.

Us Weekly reported that the professional dancer clarified that she wasn’t asked to return for Season 34. However, she wouldn’t have accepted if she was offered.

In fact, it sounds like her time with the ABC reality show is over. “I would wait just like every other pro to find out if I have a job for the season, which that’s another dynamic that makes it extremely hard with a family,” Lindsay Arnold said. The pros don’t know until a few weeks before the season starts if they’re on the show or not.

The list of pro dancers for Season 34 isn’t out yet, but fans are already complaining. Viewers want to see new blood, not the same old pros, even the fan favorites.

Fans Livid Over Alleged Season 34 Unfair Pairing

The Season 34 celebrities and their pro partners have already started learning their routines for the season premiere. But the cast is taking drastic measures, such as masks and wigs, to hide their identities from the paparazzi. The Season 34 cast will be officially revealed on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 3.

But the network posted several photos teasing the identity of some of the contestants. Four celebrities have already been confirmed – Robert Irwin, Alix Earle and reality TV stars Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck.

A list of the other heavily rumored contestants includes breakout Traitors star Dylan Efron and Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying. Many DWTS viewers hope pro Britt Stewart is paired with Dylan Efron after she called him her dream partner. Britt and her Season 31 celebrity partner Daniel Durant tied the knot last week in a star-studded ceremony.

Scott Hoying is rumored to be paired with Rylee Arnold, Lindsay’s younger sister. Fans weren’t happy with the possible pairing. One fan called it “unfair.” They wrote on social media, “I think it’s unfair she said her dream partner is Robrt Erwin and she gets someone else.”
