Ty was the elder statesman when it came to the farmers that season, and he naturally took some of the “young bucks” under his wing.
Farmer Wants A Wife fans fell in love with Ty and the way that he offered advice to the other, younger farmers. In that sense, he kind of took on the role of older brother to the rest, and fans loved that about him.

Because Ty Ferrell is in his 40s, his priorities were a lot different from the other farmers on Farmer Wants A Wife Season 2. While the younger farmers were hoping to find someone who they could settle down and start a family with, Ty, ultimately, did not want more children.
This was easily the biggest thing that came between Ty and the match that many fans thought he would choose in the end, Megan Lay. Megan was adamant about having children of her own someday. Along with sharing the photo of all four of the farmers together, Ty wrote: “Happy to know ya Day to my fellow Farmers! About this time 365 days ago we were awkwardly meeting each other and having an even more awkward conversation! It’s funny to think I don’t remember us actually getting a group picture! Miss you fellas!”
