Many fans have become introduced to a number of HGTV stars, and even their families, thanks to the network’s shows. Recently, one well-known HGTV couple shared that they were unsure about their show’s future. Notably, this comes out amid various cancellations impacting the network.
Quite A Few Shows Have Been Coming To An End On HGTV
HGTV, the Home & Garden Television, first launched in 1994. Over the years, the network has aired a number of home renovation and real estate shows.
In recent years, however, fans have seen many beloved shows come to an end on the network. Recently, one famous HGTV couple admitted that they weren’t sure if their show was safe.

Dave and Jenny Marrs are known for their HGTV series, Fixer to Fabulous. The show, which sees the couple renovate historic homes in Bentonville, Arkansas, first premiered in 2019.
Speaking with TV Insider, the couple recently shared that they current “don’t know” if their show was safe on the network. However, on their end, the couple themselves shared that they would like to keep the show going as long as they could.
Jenny noted, “I think we will keep doing this as long as we can. As long as people enjoy the show and as long as we get to be a part of making people’s homes beautiful and telling people’s stories. It’s really a pretty cool job that we get to have. We’ll just keep doing it as long as we’re relevant.”
Dave & Jenny Marrs Still Felt That They Had More Stories To Tell
Reflecting on whether the show could soon face cancellation, Dave noted, “HGTV is running a business.” He continued, “It’s a testament to the people that have come alongside us and are watching the show.”
Ultimately, however, Dave still thought it was important to remember how much the show had already given him and his family, as well as its fans. He continued, “What an honor that we’re still relevant after seven years [since we shot the pilot].”
“I don’t ever want to forget that. To have someone come up to us that says, ‘Hey, this is a show where my daughter and my mother and I, we all watch it together,’ is such an honor. As long as we can do that and be relevant in people’s lives, we’ll keep doing it.”
Jenny also reflected back on the show, noting that there are always more stories to share. She noted, “We get to work with so many different families and they have different wants and different needs and different homes, different style homes. So, I really think just the nature of the fact that they’re so unique and different really does keep it fresh.”
Fixer to Fabulous recently premiered its seventh season on December 2. However, fans have seen multiple popular shows recently come to an end on the network.
As noted by Country Living, a number of shows weren’t renewed this past summer. This included Christina on the Coast, Farmhouse Fixer, Battle on the Beach, The Flipping El Moussas, Bargain Block, Married to Real Estate, and Izzy Does It.
