Ted actor Mark Wahlberg got the scare of his life earlier this month when his youngest daughter, Grace, 15, was injured in a horrific accident. He shared an update on how she’s doing now while promoting his new film. Keep reading to find out the latest.
Mark Wahlberg’s Daughter Injured In Accident
Mark Wahlberg shares four children with his wife of sixteen years, Rhea Durham. Grace is the youngest at 15. The actor’s other children are Ella, 22, Michael, 19, and Brendan, 17. His daughter, Grace, is an avid horse rider who competes in equestrian events.
She revealed on social media on November 2 that she had taken a spill off a horse and was in the hospital. The teenager broke her collarbone in the fall. However, she vowed not to let it stop her from riding again.

Mark Wahlberg addressed the injury and shared an update during a recent press tour.
He Gives Update On His Youngest Daughter
Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan reunite for a sequel to the 2023 hit The Family Plan. The second film, simply titled The Family Plan 2, hits Apple TV+ on November 21, 2025. The co-stars recently appeared together on The TODAY Show to promote the movie.
“She’s good,” the actor said about his daughter, Grace. Mark Wahlberg added, “She’s just angry that she’s not allowed to be back on the horse yet. She does have to take the time to recover. She broke her collarbone.” He revealed that his daughter was “rushed” to the hospital in an ambulance after the fall.

The actor often attends his youngest daughter’s competitions to cheer her on. He recently moved his family to Delray Beach, Florida. Horseback riding is “the most dangerous, nerve-wracking sport that I’ve ever watched and witnessed,” Mark Wahlberg said. “But she loves it.”
Why He Lets Her Participate In ‘Dangerous’ Activity
Acting runs in the Wahlberg family. Mark’s older brother, Donnie, is an actor who starred on the CBS show Blue Bloods, in addition to being a member of the boy band New Kids On The Block. However, none of Mark Wahlberg’s four children are currently pursuing acting careers.
He said that his youngest daughter is highly dedicated to horseback riding. Mark Wahlberg famously gets up at 3 a.m. in the morning to work out for two hours. But he told The TODAY Show that his daughter keeps an even stricter schedule.
“She has the discipline at 15 that it took me into my 40s to getting. You think I get up early and do things to prepare? I mean, she’s a machine,” her dad said.
Mark Wahlberg added, “She was just worried that we would be too concerned because of the dangers that we wouldn’t let her ride again, but she’s passionate about it so we have to let her pursue that.”
Despite her serious injury, Mark Wahlberg’s daughter plans to get back in the saddle as soon as she can.
