Rachel Recchia Says The Bachelorette Was Chosen Before Pause

Rachel Recchia Says The Bachelorette Was Chosen Before Pause

Bachelor Nation was stunned when it was announced Friday evening that The Bachelorette was being placed on pause. Normally, the show would film almost immediately following The Bachelor finale. It is looking more and more like it won’t be returning in 2025. It was pointed out that it is not canceled, just skipping a cycle. Now, Rachel Recchia appeared on the Almost Famous podcast with Ashley Iaconetti where she revealed production had actually already chosen a lead for the upcoming season. What exactly did she say? Keep reading to get the scoop.

Rachel Recchia Says The Bachelorette Was Already Chosen

Former Bachelorette Rachel Recchia spilled some tea on the Almost Famous podcast with Ashley Iaconetti. The two were recapping The Bachelor episode from Monday night and the topic of The Bachelorette being placed on pause came up.

Rachel revealed that she had heard rumblings that a lead had already been chosen for the upcoming season. Rachel said, “I was shocked because I heard they picked the lead. I heard the lead was decided and it made sense to me who they picked. Again, rumors.”

When prodded again by Ashley, Rachel added, “We all hear so much, but I heard this, it was like two months ago. They knew who it was going to be. … I heard a name. I heard from someone who usually knows, normally it’s a good source, but I don’t know.”

While fans would have loved for her to drop a name, she did not. She was sure to reiterate several times that it was a rumor and she was not sure if it was accurate or not.

Ashley Spilled Tea On A Possible Reason For The Pause

As Rachel Recchia and Ashley Iaconetti continued to discuss the shocking Bachelorette pause, Ashley had some tea of her own. She shared that Ben Higgins was more privy to information than she was. She also apologized to him in case he didn’t want her talking about it.

However, Ashley went on to say that Ben shared with her that part of this decision to pause The Bachelorette could be because The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives was doing well and they were going to put it into The Bachelorette time slot because it is the same demographics.

Of course, at the moment that is another unconfirmed report. So far all there are is rumors surrounding this mysterious pause.

What do you think about Rachel Recchia sharing that she heard a lead had already been chosen? Do you think The Bachelorette will return?

    Stay tuned for more updates.
