‘RHOBH’ Dorit Kemsley Breaks Silence On Exiting Show, Finances

‘RHOBH’ Dorit Kemsley Breaks Silence On Exiting Show, Finances

Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was not the best for Dorit Kemsley. She showed some very dark colors and alienated some close friends. At the same time, her marriage had crumbled, and her finances were in a horrid place. So, if she did not come back for Season 16 of RHOBH, would the mother of two be able to survive? Keep reading for more on what she had to say about leaving and moving on.

    Did RHOBH Keep Dorit Afloat?

PK and Dorit Kemsley lived a very lavish lifestyle, and some co-stars questioned whether they could afford everything that they had. Dorit started all of these businesses, but nothing truly lasted. Furthermore, PK had been in serious financial trouble when he met Dorit, yet she still fell in love with him. She maintained that it was his problem, and it had nothing to do with her. By Season 14 of RHOBH, everything fell to pieces; he was called out for being an alcoholic, and she was on her own. Dorit was now in a divorce battle and a single mother, which was a hard adjustment, but she did it.

In Season 15, she was overspending, and her co-stars took note. This was hard to see given that her Encino home was allegedly in pre-foreclosure status. Her estranged husband has claimed that Dorit spends excessively despite making more than him, and their home is set for a June 3rd auction. So, if Dorit is let go from RHOBH, can she make ends meet? Or, would she be in deep trouble? The author and designer spoke up and stated that she likes to believe that she would be just fine:

“And thank God a million times I have the ability to work. Listen, I can’t be driven by fear. Period. I believe in myself, even separated. I went to work. It was like, ‘Okay, I need to go to work. I need to support these kids,’ and that’s what I did. I think if you believe in yourself and you’re not governed by fear, you can do anything.”

As of now, contracts have not officially gone out, and everything is up in the air. However, if Dorit Kemsley was asked back, she would be up for it. Yes, she knows that she struggled, but that does not mean she will not return. Admittedly, she was not in the best place when they filmed the reunion, but time does heal.

    Time To Move?

As for what Dorit Kemsley wants to do regarding the mansion she shared with her estranged husband, she does want to move. They had a foreclosure date set, but it was moved. Some believe that PK paid the bill as a way to keep his kids safe for a little longer. However, Dorit maintains that if she had to move, that would be a non-issue. She is definitely ready for something smaller and would have no problem with that:

“That’s what I would love to do. [But] when you’re not having communication, it’s difficult to move forward.”

Hopefully, she can find a resolution in all aspects of her life and maybe have a redemption arc for Season 16 of RHOBH.

Would you like to see Dorit Kemsley back for Season 16, or does she need to be put on pause? Let us know in the comments below.
