‘RHOBH’ Lisa Rinna Would Have Stayed Had This Not Happened

‘RHOBH’ Lisa Rinna Would Have Stayed Had This Not Happened

When Lisa Rinna exited The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after Season 12, it seemed like the right choice at the time. She had just been involved in a traumatic event with Kathy Hilton and claimed she had PTSD. Yet, had one other event not happened, she likely would have stuck around. Keep reading for more on what could have kept Rinna holding her diamond on RHOBH.

Lisa Rinna Exited After 8 Seasons

RHOBH was Lisa Rinna’s longest job, as she joined in Season 5 and immediately made waves. She asked her co-stars to “own it,” plus she called them out at every move. Rinna aligned with Lisa Vanderpump, whom she claimed forced her to do and say things out of her character. She also had conflict with Kim Richards and accused Kyle Richards of being an enabler. However, she became a fan favorite and was incredibly close to Erika Jayne and Dorit Kemsley. Then, she left after Season 12, although there have been rumblings of her return.

Now, Rinna is sharing that there is one circumstance where she would still have been on the show. Her beloved mother, Lois, passed away toward the end of her time, and that played heavily into her decision to leave. She went on The Morgan Stewart Show and explained how her mother impacted her:

“Here’s what happened. If my mom hadn’t died, I would probably still be on that show today because I’m such a worker bee. I [would have] just adapted and made it work.”

As it turned out, Lois came to Lisa Rinna in a dream. It was not too long after she died, and she was the one who told her to leave RHOBH:

“She [appeared in the dream and] said, ‘It’s time to go. It’s time to go.’ It really happened. It did happen, and I’ve got chills. I know it happened.”

    Everyone Loved Lois

Lisa Rinna’s RHOBH co-stars loved Lois, as did viewers. She was a breath of fresh air and was young beyond her years. When she passed, everyone felt the loss, and it was clear that Rinna was struggling in her final season. She was breaking down because she needed to grieve, and that played into her behavior. Now, in hindsight, Lisa Rinna knows that she should have stepped back when Lois passed and focused on herself:

“I was in a very painful position. My mom died. Three days later, I went to work. And I should never, ever have done it. Listen, it’s my own fault. I should have said, ‘You know what? I have to take some time. I cannot come right back to work.’ But there was a trip to Mexico, and they needed me [to carry the scenes].”

As to whether she will come back to RHOBH, she has always said that door is closed. Do you believe that Lois came to Lisa Rinna in a dream? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
