Savannah Guthrie Begs Kidnappers To Reveal Mom’s Location

Savannah Guthrie Begs Kidnappers To Reveal Mom’s Location

Savannah Guthrie and her family are still desperately seeking answers about their mother’s whereabouts. Nancy Guthrie went missing in the early hours of February 1, 2026, and hasn’t been seen since. But her family isn’t giving up on finding her. The Today Show host made a new plea to the people who took her mother, begging them to reveal her mom’s location. Keep reading to find out more on the shocking case.

Latest On Nancy Guthrie’s Missing Persons Case

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen alive on January 31st when her family dropped her off at home after dinner together. She was reported missing the next day after missing a church event. That was nearly six months ago. The FBI got involved in the high-profile case days after Nancy Guthrie disappeared.

The authorities released a video shortly after the alleged abduction of a masked individual tampering with the home’s security cameras. That’s the only footage they have of the alleged suspect in Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.

There were reports of multiple ransom notes, some of which turned out to be fake. Several outlets reported that one ransom note included an apology for Nancy Guthrie’s death. However, it hasn’t been confirmed whether she’s alive or not. Either way, her family wants her home.

Savannah Guthrie Begs Kidnappers To Reveal Missing Mom’s Location

Savannah Guthrie returned to the Today Show two months after her mom’s disappearance. She’s taken several breaks since then. The morning talk show recently had quite the scare when an intruder approached Craig Melvin. However, the incident seems unrelated to Savannah Guthrie or her missing mother.

The distraught daughter has made several videos in the last six months, pleading for her mother’s safe return. Savannah Guthrie posted a new video ahead of the six-month milestone of her mother’s disappearance.

“I’m coming on today with a very specific message. It has been months since our mom was taken from us. Our family is in agony. We are in a nightmare that will not end,” she said. Savannah Guthrie vowed never to stop looking for her mom.

She encouraged the kidnappers to “do the right thing” and reveal information about her mother’s whereabouts so the family can bring her home. “I am asking you — begging you — to do the right thing now. Make the right choice. Help us find her. Tell us where to look for her. I truly believe it is never too late to do the right thing. Help us bring this situation to an end,” she begged.

The odds of Nancy Guthrie still being alive are slim. Savannah Guthrie and her family still have hope, but the message to the kidnappers also hints that they’ve accepted their mother’s likely fate. They just want her home.

Anyone with information is urged to contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324). Savannah Guthrie and her family are offering a $1 million reward for the return of her mother.
