‘The Curse Of Oak Island’ Fans Worried About Jack Begley

The Curse of Oak Island recently returned for its thirteenth season. However, fans have noted that one longstanding member of the History Channel series has been surprisingly absent: Jack Begley. Many have also been sharing their reactions on social media while trying to find out what’s going on.

Jack Begley Has Been Part Of The Curse of Oak Island Since The First Season

The Curse of Oak Island revolves around two brothers from Michigan, Rick and Marty Lagina, who search for treasure in the titular Oak Island. Thanks to the History Channel series, fans have gotten to know both the Lagina brothers and various members of their team.

Jack Begley has been part of the show since the first season. Introduced as a young treasure hunter also originally from Michigan, Jack is also the stepson of Craig Tester, Marty’s former college roommate. Begley also became an associate producer on the show in 2015, a year after the show launched.

Earlier this month, The Curse of Oak Island returned for its 13th season. However, while Begley appeared in the season’s trailer, he was absent on the show during the season’s first few episodes.

As The Curse of Oak Island already has a large cast, it makes sense that some people will be getting more focus than others at times. However, with Jack being such a big part of the show, his absence has gotten some fans worried.

Many fans have taken to social media to voice their concerns. As one fan wrote, “Where is ‘could it be’ Jack? Any good ideas on his whereabouts?

Some Fans Are Worried About A Change In Jack’s Appearance, Others Said They Saw Him In Upcoming Promos

The fan continued, “Has he been banned from Canada? Will he show up mid-season with no explanation for his late arrival?”

A few fans noted that Jack was mentioned on the show, pointing out that he was busy with some business. That said, others showed concern for his health, noting a change in his appearance when appearing in the Season 13 trailer.

A few also noted seeing him in a few other promotional spots. Some comments included:

    • “I thought when I saw him in a promo… his face looked much thinner than normal. I wondered if he may be sick or something.”
    • “Joking aside for a second. Jack looks like he’s lost a lot of weight and I am hoping he is ok. He looks odd. Like something is not right.”
    • “Craig said that Jack was ‘finishing up some business at home’ and would be there a bit later. It was when they were all sitting around the table at the beginning of the episode.”

As Jack has appeared in the trailer, fans could expect him to appear on the show this season. He also hasn’t said anything about leaving the show on social media at this time. Ultimately, fans will have to keep watching The Curse of Oak Island to see what happens next.

Have you been keeping up with The Curse of Oak Island? What do you think about Season 13 so far? When do you think fans will see Jack back on the show? Make sure you come back to TV Shows Ace for all the latest reality TV and celebrity news.
