On Wednesday, NBC aired Christmas at Graceland, filmed at the late Elvis Presley‘s incredible estate in Memphis, Tennessee. For the very first time, the doors of Graceland were opened to host some iconic stars performing holiday songs, along with some Elvis classics. Riley Keough, the daughter of Elvis Presley’s late daughter Lisa Marie Presley, appeared during the event and was an executive producer on the project.
Keough shared, “My family and I are elated to open the doors to Graceland in this first-of-its-kind special. With intimate musical performances drawing inspiration from my grandfather Elvis’s cherished Christmases in Memphis, viewers will be invited to experience firsthand the magic that is Christmas at Graceland.”
Who performed during the ‘Christmas at Graceland’ special?
Talented singers Alanis Morissette, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Lana Del Rey, Post Malone, and The War and Treaty performed throughout the evening inside and outside of Graceland. Morissette, who was a longtime friend of Lisa Marie, performed “Last Christmas” outside of the Presley family jet, almost a year after performing “Rest” at Lisa Marie’s memorial service in January.

Legend opted for a Christmas tune as well, performing “Happy Christmas (War Is Over)” at a piano, supported by a string section and impressive choir. Musgraves paid tribute to the King by singing “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” which she also sang on the soundtrack for 2022’s Elvis. She sang on the front steps of Graceland, with photos of the Presley family projected on the estate, and then drove off in a classic car.

Country stars Brown and Wilson also performed separate sets, with Brown singing “Blue Christmas,” one that Elvis regularly sang himself. Wilson performed the jolly tune “Santa Claus Is Back in Town.” One of the most beloved moments of the night was when Del Rey performed “Unchained Melodies.” She shared, “I know that that was one of Elvis’ favorite covers by The Righteous Brothers and I particularly like his performance at Rapid City, so we’re going to channel that.”
