Joy Behar Claims Texas Gov. Abbott Is A ‘Sadist’ Who Gets ‘Sexual Gratification’ From ‘Inflicting Pain’

Joy Behar Claims Texas Gov. Abbott Is A ‘Sadist’ Who Gets ‘Sexual Gratification’ From ‘Inflicting Pain’

On Tuesday’s episode of the ABC talk show “The View,” Joy Behar launched a truly outrageous attack on the Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R), going so far as to describe him as a “sadist” who gets “sexual gratification” from “inflicting pain” on people.

    Behar’s Vile Attack On Abbott

Behar, 80, made these bizarre comments during a segment in which the women of “The View discussed an impending lawsuit against Abbott pertaining to his efforts to secure the southern border.

“The thing about Abbott is, he is a sadist,” Behar began. “I looked up the word sadist; it’s a person who derives pleasure, sometimes sexual gratification – I don’t think that’s his problem – from inflicting pain, suffering or humiliation on others.”

Behar went on to claim that Abbott signed a law stripping construction workers “of their right to water breaks every four hours and time to rest in the shade.”

“He has a sadistic streak,” she ranted. “And the people in Texas could have had Beto O’Rourke, and they passed on him and put the sadist in there, and they need to think about that in Texas.”

Beto O’Rourke is, of course, the Democrat darling who has tried and failed miserably to run for Texas governor, the U.S. Senate, and even president of the United States.

    Abbott Fights Back Against DOJ

Fox News reported that after the Department of Justice announced plans to sue Abbott over the use of a floating buoy barrier to stop illegal aliens from coming into Texas, Abbott fired back by saying that his state “has the sovereign authority to defend our border, under the U.S. Constitution and the Texas Constitution.”

“We have sent the Biden Administration numerous letters detailing our authority, including the one I hand-delivered to President Biden earlier this year,” he added.

Abbott also took to Twitter on Sunday to accuse President Joe Biden of “not doing his job.”

“Texas Has Seized More Than 422 Million Lethal Doses of Fentanyl Since 2021. More than enough to kill all Americans,” the Texas governor wrote. “We have also made 394,200 illegal-immigrant apprehensions and 31,300 criminal arrests. All because Biden is not doing his job.”

    Sunny Hostin Chimes In

Behar’s radically liberal co-host Sunny Hostin got in on the action attacking Abbott as well, deflecting from the border crisis by saying that the Texas governor should be more focused on gun violence.

“Fine, there is a problem at the border,” she said. “There’s been an immigration problem in this country that hasn’t been solved in decades. A lot of people don’t work on it, Democrats don’t work on it as much as they should, Republicans don’t work on it as much as they should, however, unlawful entries along the southern border decreased 70% from their record highs since the end of Title 42 on May 11th, 70%.”

Hostin then nonsensically claimed that Abbott is dealing with a situation that is “already declining,” referring to the border, instead of “worrying about the gun violence that’s in Texas.”

    Abbott’s Letter To Biden

Of course, the border crisis isn’t declining at all, and is instead getting worse and worse every day. That’s why Abbott sent a letter to Biden earlier this week pledging to take legal action.

“If you truly care about human life, you must begin enforcing federal immigration laws,” reads the letter. “By doing so, you can help me stop migrants from wagering their lives in the waters of the Rio Grande River. You can also help me save Texans, and indeed all Americans, from deadly drugs like fentanyl, cartel violence, and the horrors of human trafficking.”

“To end the risk that migrants will be harmed crossing the border illegally, you must fully enforce the laws of the United States that prohibit illegal immigration between ports of entry,” he continued. “In the meantime, Texas will fully utilize its constitutional authority to deal with the crisis you have caused. Texas will see you in court, Mr. President.”

President Biden’s Dept. of Justice threatened to sue Texas over the marine barriers we deployed on the Rio Grande.

It’s easy for Behar to belittle the border crisis from her high-rise apartment in New York City. As a member of the liberal elite, she’ll never actually have to deal with what residents of Texas border towns are hit with every day as their communities are invaded by more and more illegal aliens.

Behar bizarrely branding Abbott as a “sexual sadist” shows how truly unhinged she really is. No attack on a conservative is too over the line for Behar, and it’s unfortunate that ABC continues to give her platform to spread her hate-fueled nonsense on a daily basis.
