What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write this book?
I love billionaire romance, and I’d never written one before, so this was on my “to-do” list for a while. I want to believe that love is stronger than money and that power comes from your character, not how many senators you have on speed dial.
If you had to pick theme songs for the main characters of your book, what would they be?
She’s Like The Wind – by Patrick Swayze
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
I devour all kinds of books, but I’m an avid romance and fantasy reader at heart. I read mostly paranormal and fantasy romance, but I sometimes venture into contemporary and historical.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
I’m listening to Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole. I love audiobooks!
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
Always the meet-cute! Even more so, a second-chance-at-love meet-cute!
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
I can write anywhere, but I mostly write in my comfy chair with my cat on my lap and at least one dog at my feet. It gets crowded!
Do you have a motto, quote or philosophy you live by?
Don’t ever give up.
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
That reading is supposed to be an escape from reality and that it should be enjoyable. Read what makes you happy and don’t be ashamed of it!
