Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Colorblaze Carnival Event Guide

Now that Spring has arrived in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, there are plenty of new events to participate in and earn rewards from, including the Colorblaze Carnival. While the Springtime Celebration event takes place throughout March, the Colorblaze Carnival offers less than half that time to collect all the item rewards.

Starting on March 26th, when you open up Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you will be greeted by Pochacco, who will inform you that the Colorblaze Carnival has begun. During this event, you’ll be able to trade Color Powder at the Carnival stand for themed furniture and decor items that will disappear once the event has ended.

Play Every Day To Earn Event Rewards

The Colorblaze Carnival is a limited-time event that will run from March 26th to April 13th, 2025. During this time, you will be able to complete activities Pochacco sets up for you that will reward you with a tradeable material. This material can then be taken to the Colorblaze Carnival stand and traded for any item of your choosing.

A lot of time can be saved while gardening in Hello Kitty Island Adventure by using this simple feature, which many players had no idea existed.

In addition to using the Colorblaze Carnival Stand, you’ll also want to make sure you’re logging in every day of the event, or at least most of them, as there is a daily reward that can be collected each day for 14 days by just opening the game. Since the event only runs for a little over two weeks, this means that you’ll only be able to miss a couple of days if you want to claim all the rewards, which include dyes, outfits, and accessories.

Since the daily rewards are collected automatically when logging in each day, you won’t need to worry about doing anything special for them. However, when it comes to trading at the Colorblaze Carnival Stand, you’ll need to collect Color Powder. This material is exclusive to the event, used for trading, and can only be collected one way.

Gardening is present in just about every cozy game, including Hello Kitty Island Adventure, but it can be hard to figure out how to start the process.

When you first log in during the event, Pochacco announces that he will be setting up an activity for you to complete each day of the Colorblaze Carnival. After your discussion with him, which should happen near the Colorblaze Carnival stand near the center of the resort, you should be able to see a banner to the left of you. It’s located on the sand between the stand and the dock where Badtz-Maru’s shop is located.

Chocolate Coins are just one of the available materials used to craft recipes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, but collecting them can be tedious.

When you approach the banner, step on the button, and you will see a bunch of colorful flowers forming a line for you to follow. This is a pretty common form of activity around the island, so it’s likely you’ve done this form of task at least once before. Follow the path, collecting all the flowers, before the timer at the bottom of the screen runs out. Once you’ve collected the last flower, the timer will disappear, and you will be rewarded with 7 Color Powders.

The first time you do this activity, starting on the sand, it will be a trial run to demonstrate how to complete it. So for that day only, you’ll be able to complete the activity twice. Once you’ve completed the trial run, you can open up your map to locate the first official activity. In my case, it was near the top left of the resort area and marked with a banner icon, but it may be different for you depending on what day you begin the event and whether the locations will change daily.

If players hope to uncover all the island’s mysteries in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, they’ll first need to acquire a specific tool, the pickaxe.

Once you find and complete the first official activity, which involves doing the same thing you did in the trial, you will receive another 7 Color Powders. While the banner won’t disappear after completing this task, you won’t be able to obtain any more Color Powder from it since you can only collect it once each day. If you complete the activity again before the day is over, you’ll simply receive other materials like sand dollars.

Once you’ve completed a few activities and are ready to trade your Color Powder, you can head over to the Carnival Stand. There, you will find 10 different items available for trading, all of which can be used to decorate your home or other cabins around the island for future Hello Kitty Island Adventure residents. The items you can trade for include:

Keep in mind while trading for items that there is no limit to how many you can trade for, and you are not required to purchase every item. If something doesn’t appeal to you, feel free to skip it and trade for multiples of something else. However, the items will be gone at the end of the event until next year. So, if you don’t trade for them now, you will have to wait another year, and there’s still no guarantee the same items will be available at the next Colorblaze Carnival Event in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
