Founded during a season of new beginnings, the brand grew alongside new parenthood, proving that determination can build both a family and a business. Co-founders Erica Marie Hammel, BSN, RN, and Erica Mendez, BSN, RN, turned their shared vision into reality.
With services spanning cosmetic injectables, IV hydration, facials, and weight-loss treatments, Lips and Drips is redefining holistic care. And with an Academy training the next generation of injectors—plus bold expansion plans—Lips and Drips isn’t just growing, it’s thriving.
Reflecting on her journey, co-founder Erica Mendez, BSN, RN shared:
“Balancing the demands of new motherhood with building a business was one of the hardest, yet most rewarding, experiences of my life. Running Lips and Drips gave me structure and purpose during my postpartum journey—it pushed me to get up, get dressed, and show up. This helped my physical and mental recovery tremendously. Juggling home and work is never simple, but my drive and determination push me to give my best in both my family and my business.”
Looking ahead, Erica emphasizes that quality and integrity guide every service:
“Every client’s journey is unique. Some come with a specific goal—like weight loss—while others want a full plan for overall confidence and wellness. At Lips and Drips, honesty and integrity guide everything we do. We create customized treatment plans based on each client’s needs, goals, and lifestyle, ensuring safe and effective results tailored to real goals.”
With her and her business partner’s strong nursing backgrounds, clients can feel assured in the safety, comfort, and quality of every treatment. Erica explained,
“Our hospital experience gave us confidence, compassion, and a deep knowledge of the human body. That translated seamlessly into aesthetics, where we treat every client with empathy and precision while always prioritizing safety.”
Education is also central to the Lips and Drips mission. Through the Academy, Erica hopes to empower other injectors with confidence and skill.
“Helping new providers thrive in this field is incredibly rewarding,” she said. Additionally, “Through the Academy and the opening of our newest location, Lips and Drips continues to expand, bringing this bold vision to life. Our vision for the new location is bigger and bolder than ever before, and I’m ready to bring that dream to life.”
