The Ally Coalition’s annual talent show took place in New York last night, with St. Vincent, Clairo, Bartees Strange, and Jason Isbell among the performers along with Ally Coalition co-founder Jack Antonoff’s Bleachers. Elsewhere during the show at NYU Skirball, Bartees Strange covered Gerschwin’s “Summertime,” Clairo revived her version of Vashti Bunyan’s “Winter Is Blue,” Jason Isbell covered John Prine’s “Hello in There,” Claud did Taylor Swift’s “Betty,” and St. Vincent played “New York” and “…At the Holiday Party” with Antonoff on piano.
