Entire TLC Family Devastated By Trent’s Health News

With Trent Johnston dealing with the new reality of the state of his shrinking brain, the repercussions of it have a reach that goes well beyond just Trent himself. Trent has been a rock for his family for many years, and his entire family is used to relying on him when they need support.

However, with Trent coming to grips with the state of his brain, for once, it was him that needed to lean on his family as a source of strength. This was especially bad timing on account of the fact that everyone has been adjusting to the arrival of baby Leighton Bolden as well.

There were concerns over Trent dealing with his vertigo symptoms while he was on duty watching Leighton.

    • One commenter said: “If Trent really has the brain of an 80 something year old and dementia runs in his family, there is a really good chance he can get early onset dementia within the next ten years. Dementia progresses so quickly, and he is already having memory loss. That’s very sad for him and his family. Liz said she was thankful she had a baby before her father’s condition worsened (not a good way to look at it), but what is true is that they should make the most of the time they have with Trent before it is too late.”
    • Another commenter said: “I agree with you. If it’s coming he can start to make plans and get them in writing—give his sister, Heidi, a copy. If I were in his shoes I wouldn’t trust Amber considering her opinion on what to do with Trent’s father. Wonder if it’s too late to get a long term care policy?”

What do you think of Trent and his condition? Let us know in the comments below.
