‘Bachelor’ Peter Weber Joins New Reality Series ‘Destination X’

Bachelor Peter Weber is taking another stab at reality television. On Thursday, NBC announced a new reality series that focuses on adventure and traveling. Peter has already been on The Traitors, The Bachelorette and he was The Bachelor. He’s ready for a new challenge and Weber has already said this was the most incredible adventure he’s had so far. What can fans expect from Pilot Pete and the other contenders on the show? Keep reading to get all the details.

Bachelor Peter Weber Will Compete In Destination X

Bachelor Peter Weber is ready for his most exciting adventure yet. After the multiple reality shows he’s already been on, Weber will be on a European journey in hopes of being the last man standing and winning $250,000.

Traveling is right up Peter’s alley. He’s a commercial airline pilot for United Airlines. He frequently makes international flights for work. Will it give him an advantage? Fans will have to wait and find out.

In Peter’s own words, he says, “This was hands down the most incredible adventure of my life so far.”

    What Exactly Is Destination X?

Bachelor Peter Weber and 11 other competitors will be debuting on the US version of this show. NBC is bringing a unique twist to the reality show that became a major hit in Belgium and across Europe.

Now, 12 strangers will be traveling across Europe themselves in what is being called the ultimate guessing game. The new Executive Vice President, Unscripted Programming for NBC said, “Destination X has already captivated audiences around the world, and now we’re bringing a fresh, uniquely NBC twist to it — led by the endlessly charismatic Jeffrey Dean Morgan.”

The 12 contestants will board a completely blacked-out bus that will take them to “obscure tourist attractions littered with hidden challenges.”

At each unknown, mysterious location, they will all get off the bus and try to figure out where they are. The contestants will have to use knowledge of pop culture, history, geography and observational skills to figure out clues and gain an advantage.

NBC went on to describe the show more by saying, “Gamemaster Jeffrey Dean Morgan has a few tricks up his sleeve, from mind games and pivotal ultimatums to introducing two familiar faces — JaNa Craig (Love Island) and Peter Weber (The Bachelor, The Traitors), who hop on the adventure bus and change the trajectory of the game.”

There are players with a variety of occupations, from a pilot to an international bird watcher. They each will bring unique characteristics to hopefully help them figure out where the X they are. Yes, that is the tagline of the show.

How Do They Win The Competition?

At the end of each episode, they will enter a map room and place an X on the map where they believe they are. The person who is furthest away from the correct answer is eliminated. The object of the competition is to be the last man standing and answer “Where the X are we?”

The final competitor will be greeted by the host and also be given the $250,000 prize.

Peter Weber did not find forever love on The Bachelor, nor did he win The Traitors. So, will this journey end in victory for him? What do you think about Peter joining this new show?

Fans will have to tune in and watch Destination X on May 27 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock.
