Howard Stern Launching HBO Max Series Amid SiriusXM Drama

Howard Stern Launching HBO Max Series Amid SiriusXM Drama

Howard Stern is allegedly preparing to launch his own HBO Max series amid ongoing drama from his SiriusXM show. The shock jock just underwent massive layoffs and even has fans wondering how much longer his show will be on. So, what kind of series could be coming to the network? Keep reading for more details

Howard Stern Is Under A Microscope

Things have gotten tense for Howard Stern since he experienced massive layoffs for his SiriusXM radio show. Moreover, it seems that he will be doing fewer episodes weekly, leading listeners to believe that the end is near. Although he has always made his own rules, and that is what people have loved about him, something has changed the longer that he is on air. Now, it appears that he is doing something that he did decades ago. Stern used to have clips from his radio show filmed and then played late-night on E!

This could be happening all over again, but on HBO Max. An insider shared that Stern is solely doing his show on Mondays, so they will only have three hours per week to condense into a show:

“This is a very strict schedule for him to be able to use that show’s video for HBO Max.”

Allegedly, fans can expect either sixty or 90 minutes from the week before, which, again, is reminiscent of what E! used to do. It was fun to go behind the scenes and for people to see Howard Stern as well as Robin Quivers and his guests chatting it up. Now, with them on SiriusXM, it is uncensored, which is what they can expect on HBO Max.

Right now, Stern is happy with what he is doing. He likes working less, but still being able to be a radio presence. He has dedicated his life to his career, and he still has two years left in his contract.

    Fans Have Some Questions

Now that Howard Stern is coming back to television, fans are wondering about E! and his past shows. They want to know if those will pop back up as part of posterity:

    • I wonder if this means HBO will get Howard’s video archive going back to the E! Show or even Channel 9 show days. Imagine a FAST channel with 24/7 classic Howard? That’d be dope.
    • A lot of it probably hasn’t age well.

Others did not think that a Stern show was all that great an idea. However, die-hard fans are likely thrilled with this and cannot wait to see what comes to be:

    • What in the f*ck is HBO smoking? Maybe 30 years ago this is a good idea.
    • My thoughts exactly. HBO with Howard would of been iconic in the early 2000s.
    • What a waste of space and a tacky show to have on HBO MAX
    • It’s just a modern version of the E! Show. If you don’t know what that is then what are you even doing here?

It will be interesting to see how a Howard Stern television show fares and if it is even worth watching. Maybe they will throw in some extra content for fans, given that HBO Max is a paid service.

Would you watch a show based on his radio series, or do you think this is a bad idea? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
