Khloe Kardashian is really exposing herself and her former relationship on her new podcast, Khloe in Wonder Land. Now, she’s talking about her marriage to Lamar Odom and the pivotal moment when she realized her marriage was doomed.
Khloe Kardashian Opens Up
Episode 3 of Khloe in Wonder Land, Khloe Kardashian’s podcast, was just released and she was sure to spill the tea the whole episode. The star hosted Mel Robbins where, of course, they discussed Khloe’s relationships. In every podcast episode so far, Khloe has discussed her love life whether that’s marrying Lamar Odom or giving birth while Tristan Thompson cheated on her. This time though, she’s diving deeper into the end of her marriage with former NFL star, Lamar Odom.
According to Page Six, Khloe started by talking about Lamar’s drug problem. The star actually ended up in a coma for days following his divorce from Khloe Kardashian because of drugs.
“I remember, I was married and my ex-husband had a drug addiction. And I knew that his addiction always heightened — he was in the NBA — and his addiction always heightened when he was in the off-season, cause idle time is the devil’s playground,” she says.
Because of this idle time during the off-season, Khloe was prepared to do anything to keep Lamar out of trouble.
“And so I remember he was asked to go to Team USA, if I remember correctly, and I was begging, ‘Please, please go to Team USA,’ and I was pushing, and I remember he just looked at me and said, ‘You can’t want it more than I do,’” she continues.
“But I remember when he said, ‘You can’t want it more than me’ and ‘I don’t want it’ — it was so profound,” she says.
The Pivotal Moment
As it turns out, that line stuck with Khloe as she dealt with Lamar’s addiction, and eventually, she was able to leave it all and file for divorce.
“It took me a long time to get to, then I had to file for divorce,” she explains.
She continues, explaining that she applied Lamar’s own phrase to her own life with him. Realizing, she wanted him to live more than he did.
“That was a very pivotal moment in my life because I remember that statement being like…’Yeah, you’re right. I can’t want your life more than you.’”
Returning To The Show
Of course, Lamar Odom has been a hot topic after it was revealed that he would be making an appearance on The Kardashians. Needless to say, many are speculating that the pair could be back together.
However, fans will just have to wait for the new season to find out.
