Donna Kelce Had A ‘Blast’ Filming Hallmark Christmas Movies

Donna Kelce may be new to acting, but she is in two Hallmark Christmas movies this season. She has a cameo in Christmas On Call, a Hallmarkified OneChicago holiday movie that stars Sara Canning and Ser’Darius Blain. The second is Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. This stars Hunter King and Tyler Hynes.

Already, the first holiday movie has premiered on the Hallmark Channel. What do her grandkids think of her acting debut, and her overall experience?

What Did Donna Kelce Think Of Her Hallmark Christmas Movie Experience?

On the eve of the premiere of Hallmark’s first collaboration with the NFL, People Magazine caught up with Donna Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium to ask about her experience acting for the first first time. Donna called the experiences “so awesome.”

There was so many fantastic veterans of Hallmark movies and I just had a blast learning from all of them.

Firstly, Donna had a cameo in Christmas on Call. Although filmed in Winnipeg, this movie took place in Philadelphia, where her character DeeDee served up some delicious Philly cheesesteaks. Of course she wore an Eagles jersey, with the number 62, and Kelce on the back. This was her older son Jason’s number with the Philly team, although he is now retired.

In her second movie, she works at a BBQ restaurant in Kansas City. She told the publication how great it was to film in Kansas City, and at Arrowhead Stadium. “It’s so much for for them to be doing the movie in Kansas City for the first time and being in the stadium that I’ve been here for the past 11 years. So it was just really fun.”

How Did Donna Kelce’s Grandchildren React To Her First Hallmark Movie?

Now that Donna Kelce’s first Hallmark movie, Christmas On Call has already premiered on Hallmark, Donna has been able to share this experience with her darling grandchildren. Turns out, Donna revealed they loved her so much that they “kept saying, ‘Play it back, play it back! We want to dee DeeDee!’ So that was kind of fun.”

The three grandchildren are Jason and his wife Kylie McDevitt Kelce’s girls, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett. They got to see DeeDee in their dad’s jersey. Now, it will be time to see her in another holiday movie. This should be loads of fun for the trio.

Don’t miss Donna Kelce in the premiere of Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. The premiere is on Saturday, November 30, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. Peacock subscribers can also stream this new holiday movie up to 72 hours after the premiere.
